  • Dip Switch 1 e 2 - Frequency

    • These switches enable the frequency loop which can be in high or low states depending on the position of the switch. The optimal loop frequency is determined by the size of the loop, and the swtich frequency simply causes a frequency change in the loop. When two loops are connected to the detector, it is advisable to make sure that a different frequency is used for each one.
  • Dip Switch 3, 4, 5 e 6 - Sensitivity

    • Sensitivity settings allow the detector to select the necessary induction changes to produce the output. Each loop has four sensitivity selections, ranging from low to high.
  • Dip Switch 7 - Automatic sensitivity increase

    • Auto Sensitivity Boost is a mode that changes the detector's "undetected" level. The detector will use the dip-switch sensitivity to "detect" and once detected it will switch to High Sensitivity until it reaches the "not detected" level
  • Dip Switch 8 - Presence detector

    • Presence time can be defined by permanent presence or limited presence. In permanent presence mode, the detector will continuously compensate for all environmental changes as long as there is a vehicle present in the loop. In limited presence mode, the detector will switch to undetected after 10 minutes of continuous detection.

Jumpers

  • There are 3 jumpers located inside the instrument, which are used to change the relay configuration of the detector's output. Jumpers are located inside the unit to prevent incorrect selection operation by an unauthorized operator.

Use

  • The Detector has visual indications on the front of the unit, along with relay contacts on the back of the unit. The red POWER LED indicates that the unit is receiving power. The green CHANNEL leds below indicate the presence or absence of the vehicle for each loop.
  • When turned on, the unit will do a self calibration. Avoid having vehicles on top of the loops during this self calibration. This process takes approximately 1 second. During calibration, the two channel LEDs will flash if AB-Logic of the jumpers is selected.
  • After the calibration, the indicator LEDs of the channels will remain off (Assuming that there are no objects being detected by the loops), and the POWER LED will remain on.
  • If any problem is detected in the loop, the LED of the respective channel will start flashing indicating the problem, until it is corrected.

Warranty

  • Full 1 year warranty for manufacturing defects.

Lifespan

  • Assuming that the product has not been subjected to impacts, falls or incorrect handling, it has a useful life of approximately 6 years, provided that it is used for the purpose for which each model was designed and manufactured.

Dispose and Recycle

  • Most products are composed of aluminum parts, ABS plastic and electronic components containing silicon. These materials are recyclable and can be delivered at any collection point (Ecoponto) or delivered to recycling companies and cooperatives.
