Introduction

Tags are labels (of the most diverse shapes and materials) with a “microchip” or small dot that emits radiofrequency waves. These waves are read by RFID antennas (in this case, radiofrequency sensors). And in these chips we can include a lot of information such as product serial, date, expiration date, batch, product name, company name, among others. RFID tags are generally small devices that respond to interrogation by an RFID reader via radio frequency. Tags vary in terms of memory, the range in which they can be read, the level of read and write capabilities, and the availability of other computational functions. The tag can range from just a product's serial number to a wealth of information about the product and its history.

Application Suggestion

Tags are applied to the most diverse products, and what defines which product each tag goes to is its composition and material, as well as how the tag behaves in this material.

Warning

To read these tags, an antenna, a reader and software are required.
